Fans of the smash hit hockey romance Heated Rivalry are championing up-and-coming Canadian actor Jack Innanen to step into a key role in the show's second season, alongside breakout stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams.

Innanen stoked rumours in a recent red carpet interview, stating he's had 'conversations' with the show's team and citing his credentials as a former amateur hockey player, but with filming due to begin this summer, official announcements are on the horizon. The Ontario native has just completed a press tour for Dan Levy's new Netflix show, Big Mistakes, and can be seen next in the second season of fellow Rising Star, Owen Thiele's FX comedy Adults, which just wrapped production in Canada.
